In this new headquarters will be available information on energy projects in the non interconnected zones and general aspects of missionary activities of the entity.

Acto protocolario de inicio del contrato de concesiónEl Director del IPSE Edigson Pérez Bedoya y su grupo directivo realizaron una visita al departamento del Amazonas con el fin de asistir a las diferentes actividades programadas para dar inicio oficial a la nueva concesión del Área de Servicio Exclusivo-ASE para Amazonas. Entre las actividades desarrolladas durante la comisión se destacan la Asamblea de la Empresa de Energía del Amazonas S.A E.S.P -EEASA-, la visita a la central de generación de energía de Leticia y finalmente el acto protocolario de inicio de la concesión.

Plenaria acuerdos para la prosperidad, agosto 2010
Durante la tercera jornada de Acuerdos para la Prosperidad llevada a cabo entre el 27 y 28 de agosto en la ciudad de Popayán, un grupo de funcionarios del IPSE participó en las mesas temáticas sectoriales, con el fin de resolver dudas relacionadas con la cofinanciación de los proyectos energéticos y las alternativas que tiene el Gobierno Nacional para la implementación de soluciones energéticas estructurales. El tema central de esta jornada fue el sector agrícola, por lo cual el Presidente Juan Manuel Santos Calderón destacó en su intervención, la importancia de este renglón de la economía nacional asegurando que puede llegar a reducir la pobreza y a potenciar la generación de empleo. Por otro lado, reiteró la necesidad de trabajar en conjunto con las autoridades locales y con el Ministerio de Agricultura, para lograr la implementación de un plan integral de desarrollo con el fin de potenciar el surgimiento del campo caucano.

Seguimiento a proyectos MedellínOn the premises of the Faculty of Mines, National University of Colombia-Medellin, was held on Friday 13th August, a follow up meeting to check the status and progress of the agreements between IPSE and the different national and international entities, for development issues including: agro-energy, bioclimatic house, programs for Rational and Efficient Use of Energy, in addition to the energy infrastructure projects and the use of renewable resources.
This activity allowed each of the project leaders to present the progress and difficulties found in their development. IPSE currently has agreements with: National university of Colombia, Medellin, Technological Park of Antioquia-PTA; Corporation for the Sustainable Development Urabá - CORPOURABÁ; Unión Temporal de Mutatá Biodiesel; National Energy Financial-FEN; Energy Company of "Bajo Putumayo"; "Unión Temporal Fulgor", Renewable Energy Company of Spain PROINSO; Company ALDAR of Argentina through the Temporary Titumate, Institute for the Development of Antioquia, IDEA, through the Financial Mechanism of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain.
